Anyone who has run a league night knows the moment: someone taps the wrong thing and a track blares out over the MC mid-sentence. VibeDeck is built around load-then-play, so that moment never happens. Tapping a playlist cues it up and shows you the full track list; nothing plays until you press Play. Your desk operator can line up the next block of music while a frame or leg is still in progress, glance at what is coming, and fire it the second the MC hands over.
Every atmosphere mode is a colour-coded, touch-friendly tile, so even a volunteer on the desk for the first time can tell the warm-up playlist from the finals playlist at a glance. There is no fiddly software to learn on the night, just tiles, a track list and a Play button.
Whether it is pool, darts, snooker or an esports final, entrances are the moment the room comes alive. VibeDeck lets you build a walk-on roster before the event: each player gets a name, a photo and their chosen entrance song. When the MC calls a player to the table, oche or stage, you tap their card once. The room music pauses, their walk-on plays at its own independent volume, and the room music resumes automatically when it ends.
Entrance songs rarely start in the right place, so VibeDeck includes a waveform editor for trimming. Cut straight to the drop of every player's track so each entrance lands on cue rather than thirty seconds of intro. Loudness levelling keeps every walk-on at a consistent volume, so a quietly mastered track does not fall flat after a loud one.
A tournament is more than entrances. You need a sting when the winner sinks the last ball, a fanfare for a nine-darter, and a sponsor message between rounds. VibeDeck's signature cues are one-shot sounds that fire over the top of the music: the music ducks underneath the cue, then returns to full volume on its own. Load your winner sting, your sponsor announcements and your session openers onto the cue board and they are one tap away all night.
For live announcements, hold the push-to-talk button and speak: the music ducks in every zone while you call the next match, chase down a missing player or announce the raffle, then comes straight back when you release. If your venue runs several areas at once, multi-zone playback lets the practice room keep its own playlist while the main arena runs the show.
Tournament venues are exactly the places where Wi-Fi struggles: thick walls, a crowd full of phones, a router in the back office. VibeDeck does not care. It is a local desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux that plays your own imported files (MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, FLAC, AIFF and OGG) entirely offline. No buffering, no adverts, no stream dropping out during the deciding leg.
Because everything lives on your machine, you can prepare the whole event days in advance: build the roster, trim the walk-ons, set the cue board and lock the Manage area behind a PIN so settings stay put once doors open.
